Job Description

This is a full-time role as a Functional Consultant: Food Safety Software Implementation. The Functional Consultant will be responsible for day-to-day project work, including understanding customer requirements for the software, configuring the software to meet these requirements, and training the customers on its use. The Functional Consultant will work closely with customers, project managers, and other team members to ensure successful implementation of the software.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Requirements Gathering Analysis:
  • Engage with customers to gather and understand their specific food safety requirements and objectives.
  • Analyze customer business processes to identify how the software can be configured to optimize their operations.

2. Software Configuration:

  • Configure and customize the food safety software according to the customers requirements.
  • Ensure all software functionalities align with food safety regulations and standards.

3. Implementation Project Execution:

  • Assist in managing the end-to-end software implementation process, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and customers to deliver solutions within project timelines.

4. Customer Training Support:

  • Conduct training sessions to educate customers on how to effectively use the software.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues or concerns post-implementation.

Consulting Advisory Services:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations to improve the customers food safety processes through software solutions.
  • Ensure customers are aligned with best practices in food safety and quality management.

Documentation Reporting:

  • Document all processes, configurations, and customer interactions for future reference and audits.
  • Generate reports on project progress, milestones, and key deliverables for both internal and customer review.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in both the software implementation process and customer business processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, food safety regulations, and software advancements to provide informed guidance.

Required Skills and Qualification:
  • Knowledge of Software Implementation.
  • Analytical Skills, Business Process, and Consulting skills.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in Business Process Analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Food Science or related field.
  • Experience in food safety or quality management is preferred.
