Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer with hands-on expertise in HL7, FHIR, and interoperability integrations with leading healthcare systems such as Athena Health, eClinicalWorks, EPIC, and Orchard.
This role requires strong backend and frontend development skills along with deep knowledge of healthcare data standards, EMR APIs, and integration models.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack healthcare applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular/React, SQL Server.
• Build, test, and deploy integrations using HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, CCD/CDA, and related interoperability standards.
• Implement API-based integrations with Athena Health, eClinicalWorks, EPIC, Orchard, and other EMR or LIS systems.
• Develop middleware, interface engines, and data transformation pipelines for healthcare data exchange.
• Troubleshoot integration issues, perform message parsing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant data flow.
• Ensure alignment with HIPAA security standards and US healthcare interoperability frameworks.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical design reviews, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience as a Full Stack .NET Developer.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework, SQL Server.
• Frontend experience using Angular or React.
• Hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x, FHIR R4, CCD/CDA, clinical workflows, and EMR interoperability.
• Proven integration experience with:
• Athena Health APIs
• eClinicalWorks (eCW) APIs / HL7 interfaces
• EPIC App Orchard / EPIC Bridges
• Orchard LIS / EMR systems
• Understanding of healthcare data models, ADT/ORM/ORU message types, scheduling, orders, and lab workflows.
• Experience writing robust data transformation logic using JSON/XML/EDI formats.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect).
• Knowledge of HIPAA and US healthcare compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience contributing to healthcare automation, RPA, or AI-driven workflows.
