Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in the complete lifecycle of our new financial services web platform. Looking for a competent leader to undertake end-end project development.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable APIs.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Explore and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency and product capabilities.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to technical documentation.
• Deploy and monitor applications on cloud platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies, including one or more: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding and experience with back-end development using one or more of the following languages and frameworks: Python (Django, Flask), Node.js (Express), Java (Spring), Ruby on Rails
• Experience designing and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong sense of ownership and a drive to deliver high-quality products.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
