Full Stack Engineer

We’re Hiring: Full-Stack Developer at Applyo

Are you passionate about building impactful web products and eager to grow your career in a fast-paced startup environment? We’re looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer who can quickly get comfortable with our existing codebase, take strong ownership, and deliver iterative improvements that shape our core product.

• Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces with Next.js
• Build and optimise backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Design and query data effectively using MongoDB and other NoSQL databases
• Collaborate with senior developers and product teams to turn requirements into features
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Optimise performance, caching, and indexing for speed and scalability
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to keep applications stable and fast
  

• Recent graduate (1–2 years experience) in CS/Software Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Next.js (or a similar React framework)
• Proficiency with MongoDB, indexes, and queries
• Knowledge of REST APIs, authentication (JWT, hashes, etc.)
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to explore cloud deployment and scalable systems
• A portfolio or personal projects is a big plus!
