Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web features across React front-end and Node.js/TypeScript back-end microservices.
Implement secure RESTful & GraphQL APIs integrating relational and NoSQL databases for low-latency transactions.
Write automated unit, integration, and E2E tests, driving CI/CD pipelines to production with zero-downtime rollouts.
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate wireframes into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces.
Optimise application performance through code profiling, caching strategies, and cloud scalability best practices.
Champion coding standards, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior engineers within an Agile Scrum framework.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

5-7 years proven experience building full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
Deep knowledge of React 18+, Redux/Context, and modern state-management patterns.
Hands-on Node.js with Express/NestJS, JWT/OAuth2 security, and REST API design.
Proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) plus ORM tools such as Prisma or Sequelize.
Solid grasp of Git workflows, Docker, and CI/CD on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Comfort working onsite within Agile ceremonies, delivering sprint commitments on schedule.

Preferred

Experience with micro-frontend architecture or server-side rendering (Next.js).
Knowledge of message queues (Kafka/SQS) and event-driven design.
Exposure to automated security and performance testing (SAST, Lighthouse).
