Primary

• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for backend application development (70%)
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience in RESTful API and microservice design.
• Working experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with asynchronous programming, error handling, and logging frameworks.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth2)
• Exposure to third-party API integrations (payment gateways, email services, etc.)
  

Secondary

• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, and EC2
• Exposure to message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic familiarity with frontend frameworks (React.js/Angular) for API integration context
  

Good to Have

• Experience with Serverless (AWS Lambda) or background job frameworks (BullMQ, Agenda)
• Exposure to Redis caching, Kubernetes (K8s), or ETL pipelines
