Job Description:
Key Responsibility
Build a secure access system involving:
• Local authentication client/agent• Backend server and admin dashboard• Policy-based access control for internal applications• Encrypted communication between client ↔ gateway ↔ server
Required Skills
The candidate must be strong in:
Backend / Server
• Python (Flask / FastAPI) and Node.js• REST API development• WebSocket communication• Database (PostgreSQL and SQLite)• Authentication & access control logic• Logging and audit trails
Security
• TLS & certificate-based authentication• mTLS (mutual authentication) implementation• AES-256 or equivalent encryption for data at rest/in transit• Key & certificate lifecycle handling
Networking
• IP routing & firewall concepts• DHCP, static IP configuration• Application-level packet control (allow/block)• Experience with Linux networking tools
Frontend / Dashboard
• JavaScript + Bootstrap and React/Vue• Admin dashboard development• Role-based access control (RBAC)• Reports & analytics
Client / Agent
• Windows Desktop app development using:• C# / .NET, Python (PyInstaller/Electron), Rust or go• Ability to detect network changes and enforce policy• Secure communication with backend
Good to Have (Optional)
• LDAP / Active Directory authentication• PKI / certificate automation experience• Reverse proxy / Nginx configuration• Docker / deployment pipelines• Experience in cybersecurity products

• Independent problem-solver• Able to read technical documentation without hand-holding• Strong debugging mindset• Weekly progress reporting
