Full-Stack Developer – E-commerce & Web Applications (Java, Angular, Node.js, HTML, MySQL)

Our sister company is a dynamic firm specializing in personalized vitamin and supplement solutions based in Europe. Our mission is to provide tailored health products through user-friendly digital platforms. As we expand our digital presence, we are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the enhancement and development of our e-commerce websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and manage the existing e-commerce website to improve user experience and functionality.
• Develop new e-commerce websites and web applications from concept to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to implement responsive and interactive user interfaces.
• Integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring compatibility across various browsers and devices.
• Implement graphic design elements to enhance the visual appeal of websites.
• Leverage Webflow for visual web design and integrate with WordPress using appropriate plugins or tools for Meta, Google and other ads and Landing pages.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures across all web applications, including HTTPS, TLS encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in full-stack web development.
• Fluency in English and flexibility in working with EU and US time zones

Proficiency in:

• Frontend:

   HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, AngularJS, NodeJS

• Backend:

   Java, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), Dropwizard, Python3

• Databases:

   SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), PL/SQL

• Tools & Platforms:

   Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow
• Strong understanding of 

  RESTful APIs

   and integration techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing e-commerce platforms, both custom-built and using platforms like Shopify.

In-depth knowledge of web development security best practices, including:

• HTTPS and TLS encryption
• Secure coding standards to prevent SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF attacks
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
• Regular security audits and penetration testing
• Use of Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Dutch language skills would be a big plus.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
