Description
A Full Stack Developer is a versatile IT professional who is proficient in both front-end and back-end web development, responsible for the complete lifecycle of a software application, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. They work with design teams to ensure user interactions are intuitive and engaging and handle the server-side functionality, including databases and APIs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain web services and interfaces: This includes building user interfaces, creating APIs, and ensuring seamless data flow between the front-end and back-end. Contribute to front-end and back-end development processes: This involves coding in languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages like Python, Node.js, or Java. Build new product features or APIs: Full Stack Developers are involved in designing and implementing new features, often collaborating with product managers and designers. Perform tests, troubleshoot software, and fix bugs: This includes writing unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests to ensure the quality and stability of the application. Collaborate with other departments on projects and sprints: This involves working with designers, product managers, and other engineers to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process. Design, code, and modify web applications: This includes developing the layout, functionality, and overall user experience of web applications, ensuring they meet specified requirements. Manage database administration and hosting responsibilities: This involves ensuring the database is properly configured, maintained, and secured, and that the application is hosted on a reliable and scalable infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues and solve problems: This includes identifying and resolving bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems that may arise during the development and deployment process. Skills: Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Proficiency in back-end technologies: Server-side languages like Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby, or PHP, and database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, or cloud databases. Understanding of web services and APIs: This includes experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other web service standards. Knowledge of version control systems: Proficiency with Git and other version control systems is essential for managing code changes and collaboration. Experience with DevOps practices: This includes knowledge of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills: The ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration skills: The ability to work effectively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
