Those in local taxes at PwC will focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on local tax matters. Your work will involve analysing and interpreting local tax laws and regulations, assisting businesses in complying with local tax requirements and optimising their local tax positions. Strong knowledge of Accounting and finance. Preparing Tax returns, Schedule K-1's, Supplemental forms and basic/moderate tax workpapers. Prepare/ Review of RIC tax compliance and Provisions Basic understanding of relevant tax/accounting concepts Validate data and analyze for accuracy and relevance Keep up-to-date with tax technical / technology developments. Self reviewing work to check for accuracy of deliverables. Explore and use available tools in the Digital lab to drive efficiency. 8.Actively participate in engagement Trainings and Calls (Kick off, Status, Wrap up). Requirements Graduation in commerce / Post graduation in Accounting and Finance 0-2 years experience Active listening and ability to communicate effectively. Diversity and inclusiveness. Demonstrate positive attitude, collaborate and work as one team. Ability to achieve the target utilization set by the firm. Actively participate in training. Follow risk management and compliance procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft office software program Committed, adaptive, flexible to work extended hours if the business demands In Tax, promotion to Manager requires the holding of an active primary credential of either (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent or (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body or (3) a Firm approved Secondary Credential (as per the policy) For Manager candidates in process who have the credential, once onboarded, it must be submitted and kept up to date in the appropriate system of record If a candidate wishes to continue in the process, it will be their professional responsibility to complete the appropriate acceptable credential exams and to obtain their acceptable credential as early in your career as possible.
