Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Automation Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of web applications. This role requires expertise in front-end testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and collaboration with developers to maintain high-quality software standards. Key Responsibilities: Functional & UI Testing: Conduct automated UI and regression testing to validate user interfaces and workflows. Ensure front-end components function correctly across different browsers and devices (cross-browser testing). Identify, report, and track defects in collaboration with developers. Performance & Accessibility Testing: Conduct performance testing for web applications to optimize loading speed and responsiveness. Validate front-end accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA) using automation tools. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives). Continuous Improvement: Optimize test coverage and execution speed through best practices and new technologies. Stay up to date with emerging automation tools and front-end testing trends. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in front-end test automation. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java for writing automation scripts. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer, or WebDriverIO. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Experience with version control systems like Git. Knowledge of RESTful API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with mobile testing automation (Appium, Detox). Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow). Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
