Job Description: Front Sales Engineer – Automation Industry

Location: Plot No. 187,1st floor, G block, Thermax Chowk, above Kotak Bank, MIDC, Chinchwad, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, Maharashtra 411019

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Front Sales Engineer to join our automation solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, managing customer relationships, and delivering technical solutions in the field of industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation market.
• Present and promote automation products and solutions (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, sensors, drives, robotics) to prospective clients.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with application and design teams to prepare customized proposals and quotations.
• Manage the complete sales cycle – from lead generation to order closure.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide feedback from the market to product and marketing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or application engineering in the automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation products: PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, drives, industrial networks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to understand technical drawings and system architecture.
• Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and result-driven.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, etc.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
• Certification in automation systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of IIoT, Industry 4.0 solutions, or digital transformation in manufacturing.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
