Job Title: Front Office Supervisor

Department: Front Office / Reception

Reports To: Operations Manager

Location: Chanvai, Valsad

Job Summary:

The Front Office Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the front desk to ensure smooth guest service and efficient team performance. The role involves supervising front office staff, handling guest concerns, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest service.

Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient handling of all guest interactions.

Assist in training, scheduling, and motivating front office associates.

Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.

Coordinate room assignments, reservations, and special requests with relevant departments.

Monitor and maintain front office supplies, records, and cash handling procedures.

Support the Front Office Manager in developing and implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Support the Front Office Manager in developing and implementing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and quality standards.

Assist in preparing daily reports and reviewing occupancy and revenue data.

Promote up-selling and cross-selling of hotel services to enhance guest experience and revenue.

Requirements:

Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Front Office / Reception in a reputed hotel or resort; at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role preferred.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Proficient in PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, IDS, or similar.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Professional appearance and guest-oriented attitude.

Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
