Job Overview

The Front Office Manager will oversee all front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage the team effectively and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate front office staff (receptionists, bell desk, concierge, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth check-in, check-out, and reservation processes.
  • Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback with professionalism.
  • Manage room allocations, bookings, and coordination with housekeeping and other departments.
  • Monitor front office operations to ensure compliance with hotel policies and standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly front office reports.
  • Control costs while maximizing guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain positive guest relations and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Implement staff schedules, duty rosters, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay updated on hospitality trends and suggest service improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front office operations (hospitality industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of PMS (Property Management Systems) and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain high service standards.
  • Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
