This is a leadership position in the BETA Product Engineering team that will be responsible to drive innovation and deliver our highest priority strategic initiatives within the organization. This individual will lead a program and team that will support the delivery related to our modernization applications. Reporting to the Associate Director of Bangalore BETA product engineering, this role leads a team of software development professionals working to develop and maintain applications that are part of our core platform. This role requires working closely with product management to design to define requirements and leading the development team from concept through delivery and subsequent operation. This position involves regular communication with senior management on technical development, product strategy, status, and risks. The office is located in Divyashree Technopolis, Yemaluru, Bangalore, India. What You ll Do The ideal candidate has experience through multiple complete consumer product or service development cycles, possesses superior analytical abilities and product judgment. Core responsibilities will include: Accountable for the Quality of the deliverables across Beta systems Driving multiple quality initiatives in coordination with the QE leads and other Development and QE managers. Building the Quality engineering community in India along with the other QE managers and the Director of Quality Connecting with the QEs in India (allocated to your area) to ensure apt execution of processes and test cases Implementing various testing methodologies that will help enhance the Quality of the Beta deliverables. Collaborate with and across teams to test and support technical solutions Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective testing solutions Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software Revisit the Quality process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns Ensure the team documents each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance Dive into difficult problems and successfully lead teams to deliver quality results on schedule Assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, decide and influence appropriate courses of action Creates trust and credibility with stakeholders/user community and works with them to identify issues and risks that may impact them.
