Role Overview

As a Freight Operations Manager, you’ll act as the domain lead bridging freight operations and AI innovation. Your brokerage expertise will directly inform product logic, automation workflows, and AI model training — helping us build the AI Broker of the Future.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the freight domain expert across quoting, booking, and carrier workflows
• Collaborate with product managers and AI engineers to design and validate freight AI models (pricing, carrier matching, communication, etc.)
• Define and document end-to-end brokerage workflows, SLAs, and edge cases for automation training
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, decision quality, and communication tone
• Create continuous feedback loops from real freight data to improve system reliability and intelligence
• Represent the broker’s voice — ensuring AI tools truly understand real-world freight operations

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience as a Freight Broker and 2+ years in a managerial role
• Deep knowledge of TMS tools, load boards, and brokerage operations
• Proven ability to lead teams or implement process improvements in freight operations
• Passionate about technology, AI, and process automation in logistics
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex freight logic for non-industry teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional product environment
