Freight Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager - Freight at Sky Ocean Logistics, your role is crucial in overseeing and managing all freight forwarding activities across air, ocean, and land modes. Your primary responsibilities include managing end-to-end freight operations, coordinating with carriers and internal teams, resolving operational issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, leading the freight operations team, analyzing data for process improvements, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with sales teams to support customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, ocean, and land modes - Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams for timely shipments - Monitor and resolve operational issues related to freight movements - Ensure compliance with international and local freight regulations - Lead, train, and supervise the freight operations team - Analyze freight costs and operational data for process improvements - Maintain excellent client relationships and address freight-related concerns - Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support customer requirements Qualifications & Skills: - Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred - Proven experience in freight forwarding operations management - Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Strong communication and problem-solving abilities - Proficient in logistics software and MS Office applications In addition to your role responsibilities, Sky Ocean Logistics is a global logistics and freight forwarding company specializing in air, ocean, and land freight services, customs clearance, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.
