We are seeking experienced and self-motivated Freight Brokers in India to join our remote team and tap into the US and Canadian markets.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker to manage all aspects of freight transportation between shippers and carriers for the US and Canadian markets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in logistics and is adept at building strong relationships with both clients and carriers. This is an opportunity for a driven professional to build their own book of business with unlimited earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development:

  Actively prospect and acquire new shipper clients in the US and Canada through cold calling, emails, and networking.

• Negotiation:

  Negotiate freight rates with both shippers and carriers to maximize profitability.

• Carrier Management:

  Source and vet reliable carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.

• Logistics Coordination:

  Manage the full freight cycle, from booking orders to tracking shipments and ensuring on-time delivery.

• Customer Service:

  Provide exceptional service to clients and carriers, resolving any issues that arise during transit.

• Documentation:

  Prepare and manage necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading (BOL).

• Market Analysis:

  Stay informed on market trends and industry regulations to advise clients and optimize pricing strategies.

• Administration:

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using our Transportation Management System (TMS).

Requirements

• Experience:

  Minimum of 2 years of proven freight brokerage experience managing US and/or Canadian markets.

• Communication:

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the confidence to conduct cold calls.

• Skills:

  Strong negotiation, sales, and problem-solving abilities.

• Work Ethic:

  Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently from home.

• Market Knowledge:

  Solid understanding of the US and Canadian transportation markets, including full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL).

• Technical Proficiency:

  Familiarity with TMS software, load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop), and Microsoft Office.

• Availability:

  Willingness to work night shifts to align with US and Canadian time zones.
