Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Broker, located in India. The Freight Broker will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with carriers and clients, negotiating freight rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The role involves handling logistical challenges, managing the transportation process, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure efficient and cost-effective solutions for clients. Collaboration with internal teams will be fundamental to achieving operational success.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills
• Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, and transportation coordination
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems and relevant software
• Analytical skills for problem-solving and optimizing shipment processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively
• Understanding of industry trends, pricing, regulations, and compliance
• Business development or sales experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
