Role Description

This is a contract on-site role based in Gurgaon for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight transportation by coordinating with shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include negotiating competitive rates, monitoring shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires exceptional organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Negotiation, Client Relationship Management, and Problem Solving
• Experience in Freight Operations, Carrier Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management
• Strong knowledge of Logistics, Transportation, and Industry Tools/Technologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent Time Management and Multitasking skills
• Exceptional Communication Skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in relevant software, including transportation management systems (TMS)
• Previous experience in freight brokerage or logistics is highly preferred
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of service
