Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Freelance IT Executive to manage our clients' technology needs, from strategic planning to hands-on development and support. This role requires a strong background in web development using WordPress, PHP, Java, and SQL, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot, recommend solutions, and manage IT projects independently. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver who can "hit the ground running" for various clients on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Development: Design, develop, and maintain websites and applications using WordPress, PHP, Java, and related front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Database Management: Integrate and manage data storage solutions using SQL/MySQL, including query optimization and performance analysis.
• Custom Solutions: Customize WordPress themes and plugins, and build light custom functionality to meet specific project requirements.
• IT Support & Strategy: Act as a primary point of contact for client IT needs, providing troubleshooting and recommendations for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Project & Client Management: Manage project timelines, define requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure client satisfaction with all deliverables.
• Maintenance & Security: Perform regular website maintenance (plugin/theme/core updates), implement security measures, and conduct performance optimization.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, content teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and a high-quality user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong expertise in WordPress, PHP, Java, and SQL.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git/GitHub.
• Experience: Proven experience as a developer or IT specialist, preferably with a strong portfolio of freelance projects.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships effectively.
• High degree of self-motivation, time management, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, though relevant work experience is highly valued.

Job Types: Permanent, Freelance
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mumbai, Maharashtra
