FP&A CoE Hub Business Area Lead

You will be mainly accountable for:

• You will be an integral part of the BL INS global FP&A team to support the financial business partnering throughout the BL and be based in Bangalore.
• Performing analysis of business performance versus plan and forecast. Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.
• Working with the other financial professionals in Division / BL / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance. Analysis of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause. Performing cost /benefit analysis and analysis of inventories, NWC.
• Developing financial reporting and analysis tools for information transparency and management insights. Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / functions request.
• Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting, supporting audits.
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions. Optimize own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements. Identify areas for process / report standardization across different countries, divisions and business units.

Qualifications for the role:

• 3-5 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Bachelors or masters degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Thorough / detail-oriented approach.
• Good understanding of ABB Accounting and Reporting Policies and ABB reporting processes.
• Strong communication skills. Fluent in English other languages are an asset.
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO modules, C-Fin, Masterdata, Business Warehouse and SAP Analytics Cloud. Strong experience with MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
