Founding Software Engineer (Full‑Stack) — Transition to GenAI/ML | Pune (Kharadi) | Immediate

Seeking a full‑stack engineer with previous production experience who is eager to self‑learn and apply ML/GenAI in real products. The work is highly experimental: prototyping, integrating, and iterating on AI‑enabled features with minimal hand‑holding. There is no formal mentorship; the engineer must be comfortable learning new technologies rapidly and delivering end‑to‑end outcomes.

• Own full‑stack delivery: design APIs, build UIs, wire up databases, and deploy services to production with robust testing and observability.
• Prototype and integrate GenAI features (LLM function/tool calling, RAG, embeddings, vector search) into existing and greenfield applications.
• Evaluate and harden prototypes: instrumentation, offline test datasets, prompt/eval loops, guardrails, latency/cost tuning, and rollback plans.
• Explore new frameworks and SDKs (e.g., LangChain, vector DBs, AI gateways) and document learnings and trade‑offs.
• Handle basic cloud/devops tasks: Dockerization, CI/CD, secrets, environment management, and cost awareness for AI workloads.

• Full‑stack experience shipping production systems in one or more stacks (Node/TypeScript, Python, ) and API design.
• Front‑end proficiency in React with clean state management and API integration; good UX judgment and component reuse.
• Demonstrated self‑learning ability: personal projects or repos showing LLM/GenAI usage (e.g., simple RAG app, tool‑calling bot, eval scripts).
• Comfortable working without mentorship: reads docs/papers, tests hypotheses, and unblocks independently.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD, and at least one major cloud; basics of logging/metrics/tracing.
• Pune‑based, able to work from Kharadi; immediate joiner or very short notice.

• Fast, experiment‑first: small, testable bets; quick demos; iterate or kill.
• No formal mentorship: high autonomy, high ownership, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Provide credits/budgets for APIs/tools required for experiments; prefer open standards and low lock‑in.
