About Us

Hunk Food is a food startup aiming to bring street food culture into organized retail and hypermarkets. We are building a structured ecosystem where multiple food items are served under one umbrella brand, in collaboration with skilled street food vendors.

Role Overview

We are hiring an Operations & Business Development Lead to take charge of day-to-day operations, vendor management, hiring, and scaling the business. This role is initially an employment opportunity, but for the right candidate, it also offers the potential to transition into a strategic partnership / co-founder role as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations across food stalls and hypermarket locations
• Manage recruitment and training of vendors / staff
• Ensure quality, hygiene, and consistency in food preparation
• Drive business growth through innovative ideas and execution
• Collaborate with the founding team on expansion strategy

Qualifications

• Based in Lucknow (mandatory)
• Graduate degree (minimum requirement)
• 3+ years of experience in food business, F&B operations, or street food management
• Strong leadership, hiring, and team management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to solve problems independently
• Willing to dedicate time and energy to scaling a new food venture

Compensation & Growth Path

• This role will start as a full-time operational position (salary/compensation to be discussed during interview).
• For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to equity participation and co-founder level responsibilities as the business scales.

Location

This is an on-site role, based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
