ABOUT CURIOBOAT
SpaceBoat recently launched CurioBoat (CURIO) - neighborhood activity centers. (curioboat.com) (instagram.com/curioboat)
In this era of marks-driven ed-tech, we believe in interest-driven, activity-based learning experiences that are best delivered in a physical / blended setting. We want to create a safe place for a learner to explore endlessly, fail fearlessly, and meet like minded people who are ready to support each other’s growth journey.
We tie up with new-age education and community entrepreneurs that have a specialized research-based curriculum from across the globe and help them grow their offline/blended presence in several neighborhoods. Sample Curriculum Partners:
Sportybeans - multi-sport program for children (aged 3-8 years) - photos and videos here
Kide Science, a Finland-based after-school STEAM program for preschool and primary school children between the ages of 3 and 8 years, has been awarded among 100 global education innovations. - photos and brochure here
Nutspace - reading and storytelling program for 3-8 yr olds - photos here
GetLitt - reading and creative writing program for 6 to 14 yr olds
Pipeline Program Collaborations: We will be adding more programs to launch on Curio.
Nature Exploration: Nature based discovery and sensory exploration
Makers Lab: Hands-on STEAM experiments
Art Studio: Process-driven art and Craft session
Play Program: Game-based learning experiences
Geography Program: Discovering people, places, and maps
Time Traveller Adventure: Building cultural awareness and historical perspective
Civics Program: Exploring community, ethics, and individual rights
Tales of mythology: Bringing storytelling, fables, and folklore to life
LEGO Program: Creative building and engineering with LEGO bricks
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are the ace trouble-shooter. If the company is looking to launch a new product / category - navigate through the chaos, develop a process and then transition a predictable, scalable solution to a category manager or a product manager. If a category / product manager leaves, or is underperforming, step in, steady the ship, put it back on its growth trajectory, step out for the next such project. You can expect to be resourced on a new product/project every 6-12 months.
Primary Responsibilities (50-60% of your time)
You will be working across all Products / Initiatives in the company - SpaceBoat, CURIO and other now content partners that are running their pilots on CURIO
Product / Solution / Process design - identify different customer segments and problem statements. Figure out a profitable, scalable business model.
Marketing -
SMM - ensure that the interns / apprentices maintain the Social media calendar of the company
SEO - take responsibility for SEO rankings and ensure that the company products list amongst the top 3 links on google search
FB Ads - design and manage FB ad campaigns for different company products
FB Groups - maintain relationships with Instagram and FB groups through hosting regular live events
Google Ads - design and manage Google ads campaigns
Decide and optimise marketing budgets between different channels for different products
BD - tie up with Content Partners and SpacePartners; ensuring timely onboarding.
Sales - ensure that the leads generated from our marketing efforts convert to paying customers
Customer Experience - Be the face of the company at a SpaceBoat / Curio / Lokus Center - ensuring that SpacePartner, ContentPartner onboarding and execution is a seamless experience.
Recruiting- maintain relationships with colleges and community curators to manage the internship and apprenticeship program
Design, UX/UI and Tech
Know the basic functioning of Canva to build collaterals and templates for the marketing campaigns
Build low-fidelity wireframes / prototypes of products in the company and handover to the tech team to build them
Secondary Responsibilities (30-35% of your time)
Facilitation - be a facilitator for at least one or two of our several programs
Content Creation & Delivery
Create a course / workshop repository of 24 sessions that can be delivered on SpaceBoat/Curio/Lokus
Deliver 2-4 hrs a week of SportyBeans or your courses on SpaceBoat / Curio / Lokus
Handle marketing and sales of the course/workshops that you have created.
Events team - manage a team of interns / apprentices to take ownership of Curio’s RWA relationships and conduct events there
Tertiary Responsibilities (10-15% of your time)
Collaborate with other teams / members of the company to fill-in at times of emergency
Taking care of new initiatives in the company, that do not have a team as yet
WORK TIMINGS
Full time only.
For people with at least 6 months of prior work experience or relevant internships
Work timings are a minimum of 5.5 days a week: Tue to Sat 9:30am to 7:30pm + Sun - 9:30am-2:30pm
This role closely shadows the founder. Timings often extend beyond this. 65-75 hr work weeks are normal in this role.
Minimum commitment required: 2 years

This role requires the candidate to work from our office in South Delhi. No exceptions.
