Teacher Roles and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: Teaching - 60-70% of your time The major responsibility of the Curio Facilitators will be to facilitate the respective program that they are applying for - Sports / STEAM / Reading & Storytelling / Creative Writing Improve existing curriculum and come up with new lesson plans In addition to students, they must be able to interact with parents and school administrators. Participate in teacher recruitment and training drives to select and mentor new teachers Help in lesson plan creation and improving the curriculum. Manage child attendance and progress reports. Secondary Responsibilities: Assist in the Business side - 30-40% of your time Assist in marketing activities for different programs in local communities, social media, SEO, and offline events Assist the sales team in interacting with the parents to answer their doubts, and provide feedback on a child’s performance Assist the operations team with respect to procuring the material for the centre and helping tie up with new centres Help coordinate the recruitment drives Help launch the first two batches of a new collaboration before a dedicated facilitation team is recruited for that program And other such things Involvement with the business operations You will be involved in the business side as well if you opt for full time so we would be expecting you to be ambidextrous and take the non-teaching side responsibilities. If the company is looking to launch a new product / category - navigate through the chaos, develop a process and then transition a predictable, scalable solution to a category manager or a product manager. Figure out a profitable, scalable business model. Marketing - SMM - ensure that the interns / apprentices maintain the Social media calendar of the company SEO - take responsibility for SEO rankings and ensure that the company products list amongst the top 3 links on google search FB Ads - design and manage FB ad campaigns for different company products FB Groups - maintain relationships with Instagram and FB groups through hosting regular live events Google Ads - design and manage Google ads campaigns Decide and optimise marketing budgets between different channels for different products BD - tie up with Content Partners and SpacePartners; ensuring timely onboarding. Sales - ensure that the leads generated from our marketing efforts convert to paying customers Customer Experience - Be the face of the company at a SpaceBoat / Curio / Lokus Center - ensuring that SpacePartner, ContentPartner onboarding and execution is a seamless experience. Recruiting- maintain relationships with colleges and community curators to manage the internship and apprenticeship program Design, UX/UI and Tech Know the basic functioning of Canva to build collaterals and templates for the marketing campaigns Build low-fidelity wireframes / prototypes of products in the company and handover to the tech team to build them Secondary Responsibilities (30-35% of your time) Facilitation - be a facilitator for at least one or two of our several programs Content Creation & Delivery Create a course / workshop repository of 24 sessions that can be delivered on SpaceBoat/Curio/Lokus Deliver 2-4 hrs a week of SportyBeans or your courses on SpaceBoat / Curio / Lokus Handle marketing and sales of the course/workshops that you have created. Events team - manage a team of interns / apprentices to take ownership of Curio’s RWA relationships and conduct events there Tertiary Responsibilities (10-15% of your time) Collaborate with other teams / members of the company to fill-in at times of emergency Taking care of new initiatives in the company, that do not have a team as yet WORK TIMINGS Full time only. For people with at least 6 months of prior work experience or relevant internships Work timings are a minimum of 5.5 days a week: Tue to Sat 9:30am to 7:30pm + Sun - 9:30am-2:30pm This role closely shadows the founder. Timings often extend beyond this. 65-75 hr work weeks are normal in this role.
