• Responsible for developing sensory-focused formulation prototypes for nutraceutical products, ensuring superior product performance, stability, and consumer acceptability. The role combines formulation science, sensory understanding, and product innovation to translate active ingredients into differentiated, consumer-ready solutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and execute application prototypes for nutraceutical actives across various product formats (emulsions, suspensions, powders, gummies, beverages, etc.).
• Conduct literature reviews and technology scans to support new formulation approaches and sensory enhancements.
• Plan and perform sensory evaluations to assess product taste, texture, aroma, and overall acceptability.
• Conduct stability and shelf-life studies under real-time, accelerated, and photostability conditions.
• Support raw material selection and coordinate with regulatory and analytical teams for compliance and readiness.
• Participate as a sensory panelist and contribute to setting sensory performance benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and support smooth technology transfer.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (Regulatory, Analytical, ADL, SCM) to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation, lab records, and technical reports for all development activities.

Education:

• Ph.D. / M.Tech / M.Pharm in Formulations, Process Chemistry, or Food Technology

Experience:

• Strong background in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Food Science & Technology

• 05 years

  of experience in formulation development, preferably in nutraceuticals, functional foods, dietary supplements, or FMCG.
• Hands-on experience with sensory-focused formulation development, prototype design, and stability testing.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of formulation science and physical chemistry for predictive performance and stability.
• Knowledge of sensory aspects of formulations, including taste-masking and texture optimization
• Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE), agile prototyping, and consumer-centric product design
• Familiarity with regulatory, analytical, and scale-up processes.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
