Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Build prototypes, conduct testing, and perform both in-house and on-site evaluations.
Prepare detailed project documentation, including specification sheets, BOMs, and engineering reports.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and market requirements, and support training within the R&D team.
Conduct performance analysis and implement corrective actions in existing products, prototypes, and systems.
Research, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors for components, processes, and new technologies.
Apply knowledge of mechatronics, sensors, and automation (added advantage).
Perform mechanical and thermal calculations essential for product reliability and performance.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and manufacturing process knowledge during design and drafting.
Understand and translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
Develop precise 3D and 2D CAD models using SolidWorks / AutoCAD.
Execute tasks within the scope of engineering to ensure optimal machine and equipment design, considering manufacturability, cost, and performance
