About the role:

PYP Form Tutor

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate holistic development of learners in line with the IB PYP philosophy.
Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote inquiry, exploration, and concept-based learning.
Maintain a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student autonomy and confidence.
Support the development of students academic, emotional, and social skills.
Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and the PYP Coordinator to plan and implement transdisciplinary units.
Build and maintain strong communication and partnerships with parents and guardians.
Observe, assess, and document student progress; prepare reports and participate in parent-teacher conferences.
Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and PYP exhibitions or showcases.
Uphold the values and vision of GD Goenka World School in all interactions with students, staff, and families.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum Bachelors degree in any subject (B.Ed. preferred).
3-5 years of teaching experience
in Kindergarten or Early Years.
IB PYP teaching experience
preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Organized, self-directed, and a collaborative team player.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about early years education.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and approachable demeanour.
