Data Analysis: Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing historical sales, inventory, and production data to identify patterns and trends. Model Development: Creating, maintaining, and upgrading statistical and mathematical models (like time series and regression) to predict future market conditions and demand. Collaboration: Working with various departments, such as marketing, operations, finance, and human resources, to gather input and disseminate forecast information. Reporting: Preparing reports and dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy, analyze results, and provide insights to stakeholders and leadership. Strategic Input: Providing short-term and long-term forecasts to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and inventory management decisions.
