Key Responsibility area - FMCG ( candidate from FMCG companies are preferred ) Development of new product in pilot plant / Commercial plant Candidate has good knowledge about Technology (Single Extrusion, Double Extrusion, Rotary and Cutter complete biscuits lines, Retort Line, Beverage sector all equipment) Modification / Value Addition in our existing products Optimization of products and processes Cost Analysis (Raw materials to manufacturing cost) of product Optimization analysis across all areas related to R&D Implementation of optimization procedures Develop the BMR,BPR / MFR of the Food Products Candidates have good knowledge about the Nutrition/ Pet Nutrition and Food Microbiology Develop the New Product Specifications (RM, PM, FG ) Collaborate with teams responsible for Food Safety Requirements Work independently to research and identify areas of opportunity for the betterment of our customers. Deliver expertise and best in class knowledge of ingredients, formulations, and food processing techniques Demonstrate strong benchtop development skills that realistically translate to plant floor capabilities. Coordinate and calibrate with all cross-functional departments essential to the start-up of R&D-driven production runs i.e., sales, purchasing, FSQA, plant facilities management, etc. Develop, grow, and maintain strong working relationships with plant facilities management. Analyze and identify opportunities or issues related to R&D and effectively communicate those findings to Senior Leadership. Translate new and traditional culinary techniques and identify opportunities to apply those through the use of large-scale manufacturing processes, ingredients, and food science technologies Responsible for resolution of technical issues that arise during the development; production operational, or performance-based. Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Brand Marketing in the communication of technical information, related to new product test programs Cross-Check the all QA and QC documents (RM, PM, FG, Case study, Customers feedback form, Process flow, Product inflow, and outflow ) Reverse engineering of existing products Product training of our product Skills/Abilities -( FMCG companies are preferred ) Experience in Pet food industry / Bakery / ( Baking line, Extrusion, Beverage line ) Good experience in articulating and implementing SOPs food R&D process Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely Studious, active mind, willing to acquire knowledge Ability to research, analyze and report independently across a breadth of topics Excellent administrative and people skills Ability to work under pressure Flexibility to adjust course when required Ability to work autonomously and priorities workflow Flexible approach to working hours were needed An ability to work independently and at a distance where necessary An inquisitive mind, unafraid of scientific information or new concepts Hold a Degree in a relevant Scientific discipline Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a versatile approach Native or flawless English, with knowledge of other European languages (particularly German/ French/Italian) an advantage. Become a primary point of contact for the business, providing advice/guidance on products quality standards and expectations. Ensure each new product introduction is fully assessed and managed Periodically review quality systems and practices to identify efficiencies and to assure greater compliance. Participate in the preparation, hosting and completion of responses to Customer visits/audits and Regulatory Inspections Develop and manage the collection of metrics (quality indicators / KPIs) to assess the level of compliance and target areas of improvement. Provide Quality Assurance support on business projects as required.
