About HGK

Happy Gut Kitchen is reimagining the

intersection of food, nutrition, and wellness

. Our two primary verticals are:
  • Catering Services (Cloud Kitchen Model): Nutrition-focused meals for hospitals and gyms, designed for health and recovery.
  • Food Carts & Kiosks: Innovative, standardized formats to be franchised in the future.
We are in the

early-stage prototype phase

, and this role is for someone with a

vision to innovate food products and processes

that align with health, scalability, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development & Innovation: Research, design, and develop innovative food products, recipes, and menus tailored for healthcare and fitness-focused audiences.
  • Nutrition & Wellness Alignment: Collaborate with nutritionists and healthcare experts to ensure offerings are balanced, nutritious, and meet specific dietary needs.
  • Food Science & Technology: Apply knowledge of food processing, packaging, shelf-life extension, and preservation techniques for scalable deployment.
  • Sustainability & Cost Efficiency: Innovate in raw material sourcing, waste reduction, and sustainable packaging to optimize cost without compromising quality.
  • Consumer Insights & Trends: Stay updated on food trends, functional foods, gut health, and dietary innovations to bring cutting-edge products to HGK.
  • Franchise Readiness: Build replicable product and menu SOPs for food carts, kiosks, and cloud kitchens to ensure consistency across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Strong background in food science, food technology, nutrition, or culinary innovation
  • Prior experience in food product development, QSR, or cloud kitchen setups is highly preferred
  • Understanding of health-focused and functional foods (probiotics, gut health, clean label products, etc.)
  • Ability to combine creativity and process discipline for scalable product design
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build and scale food innovations in a startup environment
