Job Description

Job Brief -

We’re looking for a dynamic, people-loving Floor Manager who knows how to keep the energy high and the service seamless. If you can lead a team, handle a packed house with a smile and make sure every guest walks away raving about their night this one’s for you.

You’ll be at the heart of the action guiding the service team, coordinating with the bar and kitchen, managing the crowd and making sure every table, every drink and every moment feels just right.

Roles and Responsibilities -

Service & Operations -

Lead and motivate servers, waiters and runners to deliver smooth and efficient service throughout the shift.

Keep an eye on every table ensure it’s clean, attended to and that guests never have to wait too long.

Co-ordinate with the bar and kitchen to keep orders flowing without delays.

Handle VIP tables, special requests and guest preferences like a pro.

Maintain service standards and ensure every guest interaction reflects the venue’s brand and vibe.

Team & Training -

Conduct daily briefings to get the team aligned, motivated and ready to go.

Train new hires and upskill existing staff on service flow, product knowledge and guest interaction.

Encourage teamwork and maintain a positive, energetic floor atmosphere.

Manage shift rosters and ensure all stations are covered.

Guest Experience & Crowd Management.

Be the face of the floor, check in with guests, resolve issues quickly and ensure everyone’s having a great time.

Coordinate with security for smooth crowd movement, especially on busy nights or events.

Maintain a calm, confident presence even when the night gets hectic.

Ensure VIP guests and regular patrons receive personalized attention.

Communication & Reporting -

Keep the management informed about daily operations, service issues, or customer feedback.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar and service teams for flawless coordination.

Prepare reports on daily sales performance, staff attendance and guest feedback.Quality & Compliance.

Ensure the venue always looks its best like spotless tables, polished cutlery and tidy service areas.

Maintain hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards across all sections.. Keep service operations compliant with venue and local guidelines.

Additional Expectations -

Stay proactive, approachable and ready to jump in wherever needed.

Think fast, act calm, and always put guests first.

Bring energy, leadership and heart to every shift & make sure the team should feel it and so should the guests.

Requirements -

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Floor Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or club.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent multitasking ability and eye for detail.

Comfortable working late nights, weekends and event nights.

Familiarity with POS systems and service reporting is a plus.
