Job Title: Floor Manager – Hospital

Reports To: Hospital Administrator / Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Floor Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day activities on the hospital floor to ensure smooth patient flow, quality patient care, and adherence to hospital policies. The role involves managing staff, resolving patient concerns, monitoring operations, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor hospital floor operations, including patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Ensure smooth coordination between doctors, nurses, housekeeping, and support staff.
• Address and resolve patient or attendant queries, complaints, and concerns promptly.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among staff on the floor.
• Monitor cleanliness, safety, and availability of required medical and non-medical supplies.
• Support the nursing and medical teams in ensuring timely rounds and emergency response readiness.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, NABH/JCI standards, and infection control policies.
• Prepare daily/weekly floor operation reports and share with management.
• Train, guide, and motivate staff to provide high-quality patient care and service excellence.
• Coordinate with other departments (billing, pharmacy, diagnostics, housekeeping, etc.) for smooth functioning.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related field (MBA in Hospital Administration preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in hospital operations or floor management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle patient grievances with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of hospital processes, medical terminology, and accreditation standards.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

Work Conditions:

• Based on hospital shift timings (morning/evening/night).
• Emergency availability as per hospital requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
