Floor Manager

• Patient Flow Management:
• Monitor and manage OPD/IPD patient movement to avoid delays and crowding.
• Ensure timely registration, billing, consultation, diagnostics, and counseling.
• Address patient grievances immediately and escalate if necessary.
• Team Supervision:
• Supervise housekeeping, security, reception, and support staff.
• Ensure all staff are present, in uniform, and adhering to protocols.
• Conduct daily floor rounds and coordinate morning briefings.
• Coordination with Departments:
• Liaise with doctors, nurses, optometrists, counselors, and pharmacy staff.
• Ensure smooth coordination between diagnostic departments and patient services.
• Compliance & SOP Monitoring:
• Ensure all staff follow hospital protocols and hygiene standards.
• Support in implementing NABH/NABH-entry level protocols (if applicable).
• Operational Reporting:
• Maintain daily MIS reports related to patient footfall, escalations, and floor activities.
• Share any incident reports or patient complaints with the administrative team.
• Inventory & Facility Check:
• Ensure availability of necessary consumables, forms, and working equipment.
• Coordinate for facility maintenance needs with the operations team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare or Hospital Management preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in hospital floor operations or patient care services.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and resolve patient-related issues promptly.
• Familiarity with healthcare operations software (HIMS preferred).
