Job Description Job Title : Fleet Manager Location : Kozhikode & others Employment Type : Full-Time Experience : 3+ years in fleet management (preferably with quick delivery segment) About the Role As part of Expanding our business , Owleto is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our delivery fleet for the Hyperlocal & Quick Commerce vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing last-mile delivery operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, cost control, and driver performance. Key Responsibilities Fleet Operations : Oversee daily fleet activities, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries while optimizing vehicle utilization and driver allocation. Driver Management : Recruit, onboard, and train delivery partners; monitor their performance to ensure adherence to KPIs like on-time delivery rate, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction. Maintenance Scheduling : Implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce vehicle downtime and ensure fleet readiness. Route Optimization : Use data and analytics to optimize routes, reduce delivery times, and maximize fuel efficiency. Cost Control : Monitor and manage fleet-related expenses. Compliance & Documentation : Maintain all legal and operational documents. Fleet Safety : Establish and enforce safety protocols for drivers, vehicles, and delivery processes, with regular safety training sessions. Technology Utilization : Leverage fleet management software tools to monitor vehicle and driver performance in real time. KPI Monitoring : Track and achieve critical performance metrics that comes here. Qualifications Experience : At least 3 years of experience in fleet management or last-mile delivery operations, preferably with quick delivery companies. Industry Expertise : Strong understanding of hyperlocal delivery, fleet dynamics, and driver behavior. Performance-Driven : Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs related to on-time delivery, fleet utilization, and cost control. Tech-Savvy : Hands-on experience with fleet management systems and route optimization software. Leadership Skills : Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams of drivers and delivery partners. Problem-Solving : Quick thinker with the ability to handle operational issues effectively and implement scalable solutions. Educational Background : A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
