Job Description

Job Title: Fixed Asset Officer

Department: Finance / Accounts
Location: Vadodara / Saykha (Bharuch)
Reporting To: Manager – Finance / Accounts

Job Purpose:

To manage and maintain accurate records of the company’s fixed assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. The role involves tracking asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, conducting physical verification, and supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure timely capitalization of assets.
Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
Conduct periodic physical verification of assets across all sites.
Tag and classify assets appropriately for tracking and audit purposes.
Reconcile fixed asset ledger with general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor asset movements and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Assist in preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor queries.
Support budgeting and forecasting related to capital expenditures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, cGMP, and statutory regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for asset-related data.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹858,311.63 per year
