Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on equipment such as pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, reactors, centrifuges, boilers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, and WTP/ETP units.
• Installation & Assembly: Assemble, install, and replace new or existing machinery, equipment, and piping systems based on technical drawings, blueprints, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and schematics.
• Troubleshooting & Inspection: Conduct inspections, examine components for defects, identify malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Fabrication: Use various hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, drills, welding equipment) for cutting, threading, bending, soldering, and fabricating metal parts as required.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, industry standards, and quality control procedures, particularly the stringent cGMP guidelines specific to the pharmaceutical/API environment.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed and collaborate effectively with production, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Typically an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Fitter or a related trade, or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a chemical or API pharmaceutical industry is often preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in using relevant tools and welding techniques, and the ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, physical fitness, and good communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,476.65 - ₹30,192.50 per month
