Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fitter role based in Delhi, India. The Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment as per organizational standards. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, using hand tools and equipment safely, conducting diagnostics of mechanical issues, and ensuring machinery operates efficiently. Collaboration with other team members to meet production and maintenance objectives is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other machinery relevant for fitting operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical schematics
Familiarity with equipment diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and compliance with equipment safety standards
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to handle labor-intensive tasks and work in an industrial setting
Prior experience in mechanical fitting or a related field is preferred
Relevant certification, diploma, or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related area is an advantage
