Job Title: Fitter Location: Raipur Department: Maintenance / Mechanical(DRP/RMP) Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Production Manager Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical systems, components, and machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Fit, assemble, and install machinery and mechanical components according to design. Conduct routine maintenance and repair of equipment and machines. Use tools such as grinders, welding machines, drills, and cutting torches. Align and test mechanical systems for proper functionality. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, complying with all safety regulations. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve technical issues. Document maintenance and repair activities. Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitting or related field. Proven experience as a Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting (2+ years preferred). Strong understanding of mechanical systems and tools. Ability to work from technical drawings and schematics. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with welding or fabrication. Knowledge of Bearing, Pumps and Gear box. Work Conditions: May involve standing, bending, and lifting for long periods. Working in noisy or high-temperature environments. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
