Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finishing Engineer to oversee and manage all finishing works in building projects. The ideal candidate must have expertise in plastering, painting, flooring, windows, doors, false ceilings, and other finishing activities . They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality work, timely execution, and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Execution & Supervision: Oversee all finishing activities, including plastering, painting, flooring, doors, windows, and false ceilings . Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards . Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for smooth execution of finishing works. Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards . Ensure compliance with IS codes, project guidelines, and safety regulations . Identify and rectify defects or quality issues in finishing works. Project Coordination & Reporting: Work closely with site engineers, architects, and contractors to align finishing activities with project timelines. Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and work status updates . Resolve technical issues related to finishing works on-site. Material & Resource Management: Ensure timely procurement and availability of finishing materials. Verify material quality and ensure proper storage and handling. Optimize labor and material usage to prevent wastage. Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols for finishing work. Ensure workers use proper PPE and follow safe work practices. Address and mitigate potential site hazards related to finishing activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Civil Engineering. Experience: Minimum 6 years in finishing works (preferably in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects). Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of plastering, painting, flooring (tiles, marble, granite), false ceilings, doors, and windows installation . Software Proficiency: MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and project management tools. Communication & Leadership: Ability to lead teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and resolve site issues efficiently. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and decision-making skills for handling site challenges. Preferred Candidate Profile: Prior experience working with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects . Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
