Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Manager to lead our finance transformation, accounting, and regulatory reporting teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of sector knowledge like Insurance/banking operations, regulatory requirements, and financial processes. ### Roles and Responsibility Lead the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform the finance function within the banking organization. Assess current financial processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects. Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to define requirements, design solutions, and drive change. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on banking regulations, accounting standards, chart of account re-design, vendor assessment, and industry best practices. Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on new processes, systems, and controls. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry. Manage and deliver managed services engagements for clients, developing and implementing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction. Lead and manage large teams of finance professionals, developing and mentoring team members while conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Contribute to thought leadership and knowledge development. ### Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or CFA are preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3 years of people management experience. Strong analytical skills and experience with key banking finance ERP/EPM tools like Axiom, Finacle, Oracle, SAP, Workday, or Workiva. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in managing and delivering managed services engagements for clients, including developing and implementing service level agreements (SLAs). Ability to stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry.
