Financial Controller

We are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our esteemed client, Urban Tree located in Nungambakkam. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for various financial tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. You will be tasked with monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against the budget to identify any discrepancies. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will lead and coordinate the annual external audit process and act as the primary point of contact with external auditors. Your role will also involve implementing audit recommendations and enhancing internal controls to improve overall financial processes. To be successful in this role, you should possess a CA certification, although it is not mandatory. We are looking for candidates with 3-4 years of proven experience in financial accounting, reporting, and auditing. A deep understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial regulations, and audit procedures is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are highly valued for this position.
