Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller for Edrington in India, you will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer with a focus on establishing a robust Corporate Finance function in a high-risk region. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the company operates with integrity and in full compliance with internal and external regulatory and fiscal requirements. This role involves developing and governing regional financial reporting and processing requirements, as well as providing business support services. Your key tasks will include collaborating with local functions to implement global best practices, maintaining the highest standards of compliance, and working closely with Regional and Global Finance teams. You will also be involved in business controlling and reporting, including tasks such as GST and Corporation Tax calculations, monthly closing of books, forecasting overheads, and coordinating audits. In addition to your technical skills, such as ACCA/CIMA certification and proficiency in IT systems like Excel and SAP, your communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities will be crucial for success in this role. Your proactive and ethical approach to financial management will enable you to make a significant impact within the organization.
