Role: Financial Analyst Intern

What You'll Do:

This is a remote unpaid internship role for a Financial Analyst Intern at The Financial Arc. The Financial Analyst Intern will be responsible for financial planning, analyzing financial statements, finance tasks, and financial reporting. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a remote setting. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who’s analytical, detail-oriented, and design-savvy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the creation of financial models (revenue projections, cost analysis, breakeven, etc.)
• Supporting client financial strategy and research for Virtual CFO mandates
• Preparing visually compelling client presentations, pitch decks, and reports
• Conducting industry research, competitor benchmarking, and market scans
• Helping with budgeting, forecasting, and performance-tracking activities
• Collaborating across internal projects and maintaining structured documentation
• Participating in internal meetings and contributing to brainstorming sessions

What We’re Looking For:

• Background in Finance, Commerce, Economics, MBA, or related field (pursuing or recent graduate)
• Strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial concepts
• Excellent MS Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
• Exceptional PowerPoint and Google Slides skills — visual storytelling is a *must*
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, Pitch, or dashboard tools
