Description
As a Finance and Procurement Manager at CBRE, you will lead a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. Your role falls under the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on all aspects of asset operations to support Property Managers with repairs and investment plans. In this position, you will supervise employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee recruitment processes. You will schedule and manage the team's daily activities, assign tasks, establish work schedules, and track deadlines. Additionally, you will coordinate facility repairs and maintenance, maintain positive client relationships, and prepare and manage capital projects, budgets, and variance reports. Your responsibilities will also include performing facility inspections to ensure quality assurance, managing environmental health and safety procedures, overseeing vendor relationships and invoicing, and providing training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices. You will lead by example, applying CBRE RISE values, influencing parties towards shared agreements, and resolving day-to-day complex issues. To qualify for this role, a Bachelor's Degree is preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. A valid driver's license is required, and Facility Management certification is preferred. Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, and leadership skills are crucial for success in this position. You should possess strong organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and advanced math abilities for financial calculations.
