Job Description

Purpose of the Role:

Location -

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Essential Duties & Tasks:

Income Audit:

  • Prepare daily sales report before 10:00 AM and circulate it among HODs and owners.
  • Run day-end in Jonas System and generate necessary reports by departments/outlets.
  • Audit all revenue transactions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with Yas Acres Golf & Country Club standards.
  • Prepare and issue management reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as required.
  • Reconcile credit cards daily and post to the system.
  • Ensure proper backup and authorization for rebates and discounts.
  • Review and audit discounts provided by F&B and other departments.

Cashiering:

  • Collect and count cashier envelopes daily with a witness.
  • Record all amounts received in the General Cashier Daily Report.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash, disburse cash after verifying requests, and maintain a register of petty cash advances.
  • Supervise outlet cashiering staff to ensure effective operations.
  • Ensure cash floats are maintained at optimum levels.

Accounting:

  • Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
  • Assist the chief accountant with annual and interim audits.
  • Maintain proper filing and ensure adherence to record retention policies.
  • Support the finance team with general accounting duties and financial documentation.

Education/Experience:

  • 2-5 years of related experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent sitting, use of hands, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally standing, walking, and performing tasks that require physical exertion (e.g., climbing, kneeling).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and property management systems.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to assess financial information.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
