Finance Manager

As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Your role will involve aligning financial strategies with the organization's business goals and analyzing financial trends to provide strategic recommendations. You will be in charge of preparing accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Presenting financial statements to senior management and stakeholders will also be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS and GAAP. Budgeting and cost control will be another crucial aspect of your role, including creating and managing budgets across departments, monitoring budget performance, and identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Monitoring daily cash flow, managing working capital, and overseeing bank relationships, loans, and investment activities will fall under your jurisdiction for cash flow and treasury management. You will also be responsible for ensuring liquidity and financial stability. Maintaining compliance with statutory regulations and internal financial policies, coordinating with auditors and tax advisors, and identifying and managing financial risks and controls are also essential components of the role. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, oversee daily operations of the finance department, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Implementing and maintaining robust internal financial controls, optimizing financial systems and processes, and ensuring data accuracy and financial integrity will also be part of your duties related to internal controls and systems. Collaborating with cross-functional departments, reporting financial results to senior executives and board members, and serving as a point of contact for external auditors, banks, and tax authorities are all part of the liaison and stakeholder communication aspects of the role.
