Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our Finance Team on a short-term contract of 3 months. This role focuses on enhancing the quality of account reconciliations, driving process standardization, and resolving aged open items to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements to enhance reconciliation quality.
  • Drive standardization of reconciliation templates and procedures across entities.
  • Investigate and resolve aged open items in reconciliations, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing and payment application
  • Provide status updates and reporting on reconciliation progress and aged items resolution.

Education, Experience, and Requirements

  • B.Com or MBA with 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance operations.
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and AP processes.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (preferred).
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
