Position Overview: The Manager/Sr. Manager-IT Infrastructure will lead and manage the COE IT resources, including the Network Operating Center. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and services, managing IT staff, and driving technological innovations. The Manager/Sr. Manager will work closely with other departments to support business objectives and improve efficiencies through technology solutions. Additionally, the Manager/ Sr. Manager will be responsible for optimizing the organization's use of the AWS cloud platform, ensuring secure and efficient cloud infrastructure, networking, and operations. Responsibilities: IT Strategy : Recommend and execute the organization’s IT strategy to align with business goals under guidance of corporate management. Provide direction for IT initiatives, ensuring they support organizational growth, efficiency, and innovation. Leverage cloud technologies, including AWS, to enhance infrastructure scalability, security, and performance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation in both on-premise and cloud environments. Technology Operations: Oversee the management of COE IT infrastructure, including on-premise networks, servers, software, databases, and hardware. Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems, with a focus on integrating cloud services, particularly within AWS. Implement and maintain cloud-hosted services and applications, optimizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS for reliability and cost-effectiveness. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies, utilizing AWS tools such as AWS Backup and AWS Disaster Recovery. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure the security of IT systems and data, following guidance from the VP of Cyber Security. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments across both cloud and on-premise environments. Stay informed on relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ensure compliance with all IT-related legal and regulatory requirements. Project Management: Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and implementations, both in cloud and on-premise environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery. Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to meet deadlines and deliver value. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and departmental heads to understand business needs and provide technology solutions. Foster strong relationships with external partners, including cloud service providers, vendors, and consultants. Present IT strategies and solutions, including AWS-based initiatives, to the executive team and board members. Requirement s: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing technology operations. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development. Exposure with Cloud Infrastructure, Networking & Security (AWS) Experience leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
